For the past few years, the Star Trek comic license has been ably and, if I may say, expertly maintained by IDW. Their comics have spanned all eras of the Star Trek universe, from Enterprise and The Original Series all the way up to the adventures of the U.S.S. Discovery in the 32nd century. After consistently bringing us fun and exciting tales month after month, IDW is celebrating their landmark 500th (!) Star Trek comic issue!
Star Trek #500 will feature seven stories from different eras of the Star Trek universe, and will serve as a prelude to another massive crossover event which will be appearing on newsstands in 2025. And the creator lineup is impressive, including Patton Oswalt, Christopher Cantwell, Jackson Lanzing & Collin Kelly, Mags Visaggio, and more!
Here's the official synopsis from IDW:
Celebrate IDW’s 500th issue of Star Trek comics (and an early Star Trek Day!) with this landmark oversized anthology issue!
