I read...I liked this one quite a bit more than you. I read it twice, and on the first read some of the same (valid) criticisms you pointed out reduced my enjoyment of the book. When I read it a second time the character growth of Boyce and the rest of the crew made me appreciate the novel a lot more.<br /><br />As for your criticisms: I think they are minor, but I share your frustrations with them. There are so many Trek books that are damaged by a lot of trivial things due to a lack of editorial oversight. Almost all of the things you mentioned could have been easily fixed if the editor had been paying attention. Heck, most of them could have been caught by an average Trek fan doing a quick proofread.<br /><br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
